A printing press is a machine that can print both text and images. It is made up of several working parts, including plate loading, ink application, embossing, paper feeding (including folding), and other mechanisms. The basic principle of this machine is to create a printing plate with the text and image to be printed and install it on the printer. The ink is then manually or automatically applied to the area of the plate with the text and image. The plate transfers the ink onto paper or other substrates such as textiles, sheet metal, plastic, leather, wood, glass, and ceramics to produce a print identical to the original. The invention and evolution of the printing press played a significant role in the spread of human civilization and culture.
